If I can give this bank a 0 I would the worst customer service at CIBC creditview, they have a selected vision. The financial advisor their K. Zhao, never gets back to you. they accuse you of certain attributes, however they should look at how they treat people. After 40yrs they terminated my services they are the worst...woke bank !

Theresa at cibc bank in Saint John nb on consumer drive is the most unprofessional financial advisor on the planet. Aloes her staff to break rules when it’s convenient for her but when she’s having a bad day then she follows the rules. Very rude ignorant person to be anyway in charge of anyone’s money. One week u can take money out an account next week she’s doesn’t allow cuz she’s in a power trip when the manager is out. Spoke to many people in the area they all have the same problems with here.

Worst bank in my opinion staff at centre mall branch Hamilton not professional can’t get a hold of any one on the phone they say they care but they definitely do not because if they did they would help there clients still on hold after an hour would definitely not recommend any one to use CIBC it doesn’t cost anything to be civil to ur clients after all if it wasn’t for them there would not be a CIBC bank

Update:

After almost 2 weeks I was able to re-register and sign in to my online account. Funny thing, nobody from CIBC called to let me know that it was finally fixed. I tried a few times in the last week but it's a good thing I tried it again today or I would still be waiting. What service!

I tried to sign onto Online Banking to pay my income tax. I got as far as having to request a code (phone call). The call came but at the same time their website gave me a #0001 error so there was nowhere on the screen to enter the code and be able to login into my account. I called their Telephone Banking number and was told, "it's not you, it's us" but not to worry because they were going to help me resolve the issue. After waiting another 15 minutes to be connected to one of their technical staff I finally got through but the senior staff member "R" I spoke with couldn't fix it. She said she was escalating a trouble ticket and someone would get back to me within 3 business days which meant they would call me after the tax deadline thus incurring interest charges for late payment.



I had the option of letting her pay the bill on my behalf but the last time I allowed that in 2021, there were "accidental" changes made to my account and the CIBC Fraud department had to get involved (new card etc...). The closest branch to me no longer offered full services (no cash on site) so I couldn't access any funds or pay any bills until it got straightened out which took weeks! So this time I said, no thanks I'll go to the bank and pay it there which I did. Fortunately they were open.



Two days later "R" called to say their tech people fixed the problem on their backend and she wanted me to sign in. Well I did and it still doesn't work so I guess it's back to the drawing board for them. If I didn't have all my bills going through this account I would have closed it last year but I keep hoping they'll improve.

A few days ago, I tried to sign onto Online Banking to pay my income tax balance owing. I got as far as having to request a code (phone call). To representative for 45 minutes listening to their nauseating music then it dropped the call !!

My advise is you can find a

I would like to write about our experience at CIBC branch, address: 5955 Vedder Road, Chilliwack, BC. My wife Julia and I went to the CIBC bank Thrusday, June 9,2022 at 1:00 PM pick up bank confiramtion on checking account, the number in the form IBAN and SWIFT code. There was Filipino women ( I don'i know her name bacause she didn't wear a name tag ) at the desk ( before she was working as a bank teller). She printed my checking account information but IBAN and SWIFT cod she wrote by hand on a scrap paper she gave me. I was wery supprised that she is not professional there at all. I asked her 3 times to write it on a coputer because this is not a professional letter, she didn't listen. I came to my wife Julia and showed her a scrap of paper, my wife Julia took a scrap of paper and went to talk to Filipino women and raised her voice this is not a professional letter " Filipino women started screaming at my wife ( Maybe these kinds of rude manners and attitudes is common among Filipino) " Are you yealing at me, Are you yealing at me "and more thing , suddenly older white women ( she was against us as well) came again NO A NAME TAG and try to resolved the problem, she wrote by hand IBAN and SWIFT code on my confirmation checking account paper and is very ugly and no professional. I think they don't know how to use a computer. The branch manager was there from the beginning , he was agains us as well and he didn't stop Filipino women. My wife Julia and I we were wery dissapointed and shocked at how they tread us. Never ever come back to this branch . This was our first and last time, I olready cancel my savings, I will cancel my checking take my money and RUN. If I can give them -10 I will. These emplyees are rude and arrogant including the manager!!!!!
