I have a Lenovo laptop and tablet, and I am generally happy with both the performance and the work, and when now I wanted to completely leave Apple, I wish to changed the desktop to Lenovo, but here is my experience.

Taking into account the New Year discounts, I ordered a desktop, order # 4647706706 from December 27, 2024. When I received it, it was not new, but second-hand, although I paid for a new computer. It was impossible to open it and work, there was the name of the previous owner, as an administrator. Having contacted technical support and given them remote access to my computer, they only confirmed the fact that this is a used computer, and they cannot fix it, you need to return it and buy a new one. OK, I returned this one and ordered another.

But here I have already encountered confirmation of fraud on the part of Lenovo.

The second order I made on January 9, 2025, #4647779352. I received it, activated it and started working. The first euphoria from the new computer passed and I began to notice that it works slower than my MAC, which had a processor speed of 3.8 GHz. When I started looking for the specifications for my computer, I discovered a scam from Lenovo, my computer has a processor of only 2.1 GHz, while I ordered and paid for 4.2 GHz, twice as much, but Lenovo committed a scam and sent half as much, which is much cheaper.

I started calling Lenovo on February 17, but to no avail, the representative simply stopped talking. Got through on February 20, 2025, we talked for a long time, I opened the specifications, sent him a photo at his request, he agreed that the wrong order was sent, but more than 30 days have passed since the order date and Lenovo cannot accept the return. I wanted to return this one and make a new order. He said that as an exception he will try, since Lenovo is at fault.

Having not received an answer, I called again on February 21, having heard the same thing again, I asked to speak to the manager, I was told that the manager was very busy and he would call me back within 24 hours. A LIE again from Lenovo - no one called back.

I have a question for Lenovo: Does fraud have a 30-day validity period? After 30 days, it is no longer fraud, but noble actions?

I would like to hear some explanations from Lenovo management, how such situations are possible? It is impossible to turn to intermediaries, since I bought directly from the manufacturer. Or is fraud a company policy?

I really hope to get an answer and explanations from management
