Disgusted that your company is following the agenda of inclusivty of the Alphabet group. We are all HUMANS Do you have a straight flag that you would fly?? I accept all people but the choice youve made to slam that in our faces has left me with no choice other than to boycott your establishment after 40 year's od patronizm
Made the poor choice of ordering from Marks' online. Since I do not own a printer, I am unable to produce a Bill of sale for my purchase. I have made several requests for a BOS have been contacting someone named Shannon, individual refuses to send a BOS. The same individual advised me (take package to store they will do return) I was greeted with (whose step did you get that from), needless to say this kind of behavior by staff members left me embarrassed and angry, and $202 out of pocket.
The story goes further, not only do I not have a BOS for my purchases, but when i opened box containing boots, i discovered that I was shipped a pair of previously worn winter boots, they couldn't even clean them up. I guess I should be happy they in fact included 2 boots that were the same size.
I made a simple request of someone called Shannon S. That request was. please provide an employee contact name at a local store that will be aware of my returning an order without a Bill of Sale. This little bit of customer service should take 2 simple phone calls and 2 minutes time.
All things considered, my ever doing business with Marks again is highly unlikely. This was my first online purchase, and all things considered my last.
In retrospect, I should have read the reviews. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere, you do not need their aggravation and terrible customer service
NO RATING JUST YET. I TRIED TO RETURN A PAIR OF SAFETY SHOES. I WORE THEM FOR A WEEK, BEFORE THE SOLE STARTED TO SEPARATE. I BROUGHT THEM BACK TO THE STORE THAS I BOUGHT THEM FROM. I SHOWED MY RECEIPT, MY PHONE NUMBER, MY POSTAL CODE AND MY EMAIL ADDRESS. I DID NOT SUPPLY MY HOME ADDRESS - DUE TO THAT, THEY WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING. I HAVE EMAILED MARKS HEAD OFFICE TO HELP OUT. NO REPLY SINCE YESTERDAY. IF NO REPLY IN THE NEXT DAY OR TWO, I WILL LEAVE AN UPDATED REVIEW, AND SO ON. ITS NOT WHAT HAPPENS, BUT HOW ITS RESOLVED!! . . . . . COULDNT SUBMIT REVIEW WITHOUT RATING. BENFIT OF THE DOUBT - ONE STAR FOR NOW.
If I could I would give the staff at Marks in Midland, ON a 5+ rating! Today I was scouting various local stores to find winter boots for a couple who have recently arrived in Canada after 3 years in a refugee camp. As I was browsing Laurel asked if I needed help. When I said I was checking to see if the store had boots with a good grip for newcomers to Canada, she took me all through the men's and women's boot sections. When I returned with the couple she came right over to assist us. She was exceptionally helpful and went out of her way to find the right boots. Since the selection is low at this time of year she had to look in various locations. We came away with 2 pairs of winter boots for a couple who have never braved a Canadian winter. Thank you Laurel, thank you Marks.
Do not deal with them over the phone.. they will WITHOUT your consent opt you in for surveys and the third party advertisers.. then when you call and complain and ask specifically that the rep you were dealing with be spoken to by management regarding the privacy act and the breach thereof they will give you a reference number. A week later when you continue to receive their spam via email, you'll call back, ask for a manager and have to argue to speak to one.. when you argue they will threaten to hang up the line because you're not being professional!? I. The customer, not your coworker.. when you tell them you're recording the call they will hang up on you even though it is legal . Then you call back a half a dozen times and finally reach a manager, you ask about the reference number that was given to you and it's not at all what your complaint was. Then when you ask for this manager to spell out their name properly for your records they put you on hold for hours in hopes that you hang up.. they eventually hang up the phone line without returning to you... Needless to say, marks is happy to illegally use and sell your information without your consent and there's essentially nothing you can do about it. Unsubscribing from the emails does not work..
Was refused entry into the Marks at Place D’Orleans Shopping Centre in Orleans Ontario for refusing to show proof of vaccination. The proof of vaccination mandate did not include retail stores. Asking for someone’s private information is an invasion of privacy. Definitely won’t be shopping there again. You overstepped and I’ll ensure no one I know shops with you again.
Terrible customer service at Marks and extremly rude and disrespectful at Ironwood location in BC from 2 clerks one being the manager. The manager pointed to the shoes wanting quickly to get back to whatever she was doing. After we told her she got a pair not the right size and left us there. My son had to go to the front desk and call her back. The 2nd one wouldnt call another store for a size saying they were short staffed when they had no one in the store and 3 other clerks working! She said by the time we got to the other store it would be gone so what was the point in phoning. Have they ever heard of asking them to hold them until we got there?? She said she couldn't help my son put on the shoes bec of physical distancing then immediately she brushed past me!! I told her she certainty wasn't physically distancing then!! I was appalled at the way we were treated!! Never will we shop at any Marks again!!
