Worst experience I have ever had in purchasing an item. No compassion for customer. Bought a fridge in August and still 4 months later still freezing food in the fridge, water and ice maker not working as well as freezer gasket is not sealing. Will never purchase again from Home Hardware. Would give a zero rating but made it made me hit one star.
May 07, 2023...Quite unhappy to call the 3 local Home Hardware stores to find that none had the Blackstone grills that were in the flyer and that none could order these grills for a customer. I repeat, NOT HAPPY. And by the way, your email address is undeliverable.
I paid $20 for ONE box of powder free disposable gloves. Price gouging at its worst.
I’m giving them a 1 because they don’t have a zero. My first order was for polymeric sand for my interlocking patio. Since I never did this before I didn’t know how much it cost which would have given it away that they gave me the wrong sand. Unfortunately I put it in and now have to get rid of it. My second experience was today. I was supposed to receive an order of ABS pipes. After waiting all day I called at 3:30 only to find out they forgot my order. I was told when the truck returned it would be sent out (no apology). At 5:00 I called again and asked if they were still planning on delivering the pipes. I was told they were delivered. No one rang the bell, no one called to say the order was laying in the driveway. I’ll never deal with them again. No one there has a clue what they are doing.
First i ordered my 3 fans online at the foam lake home hardware store, then you canceled them later on. Next you refund me. That's not the problem, the problem is i took the money and ordered from another store in yorkton sk. Then after receiving these fans, about 3 weeks later I'm called to pick up 3 fans in foam lake sk.
I picked them up knowing i will get an invoice to pay for these but no you stole money out of my account without letting me know you were doing this. That is called theft!!!!
This discusses me knowing a company as big as yours would stoop so low.
Just disgraceful.
I can't believe your company is supporting the Truckers Convoy. Its costing Canadians their jobs.
Do not buy anything made by Benchmark they have a 5 year warranty on there snowblowers, and that means no 3 month in store warranty, they give you a number to call and after answered they sent me to a place that does no service benchmark anymore, , so now I have to take it to Port Hope 50 kms away, now it is costing me more money for this snow blower and the feelings I get for your staff is that they do not care!!!
I am TOTALLY APALED WITH THE TV AS you are promoting sexual permission rather Than Family Backyard FUN !!!! Shame om you!!!!
Poor customer service - cannot contact anyone about customer service issues- Woodstock store is worst store around drive to I Ingersoll.
Placed three online orders through Home Hardware two weeks ago. All quickly cancelled but money refunded for only one order. Finally called (after 10 days and still no refund) and customer service was not overly helpful. Although money will be refunded, it will not be credited to my card until after this month's statement. Explained my concerns given statement and payment dates and then told to take things up with PayPal even though this was a complete Home Hardware issue. I now have to pay for two items (totalling over $400) that I don't have. I realize that I'll eventually get the money although not in a timely manner. Also, agent advised that Home Hardware doesn't always process refunds until contacted by customers due to a "glitch" (their word) in the system. Customer service person repeatedly made some sort of high-pitched noise into phone (sounded like pressing keypad). When I told them to stop the third time, agent advised they would hang up if I asked again. The agent's behaviour was totally unacceptable and seemed the equivalent of swearing at me, in my opinion. (At no point did I swear or use any language to justify the agent's behaviour. Initially, I thought the sounds were accidental but seemed clear as it continued that they were intentional.) Customer service showed no real concern for issue created by Home Hardware and offered no reasonable resolution - such as expediting the refund. My only request was the money to be returned in a reasonable timeframe given the situation was created by Home Hardware.
