I work in Indochina and a colleague ganked with HSBC-CA whick was bought by RBC.
My colleague is deaf and semi-retired. He signed up to join Royal Bank of Canada. Most people were provessed within. After 10 weeks he was not finished.They refused to provide his account information or cóplete the process.
Lpng story short, my friend and RBC agreed to part company.
And my friends money? After a month of waiting, they still have not received his money.
He requested that they transfer his funds to an account within the same branch. The bank will issue Draft but unless he can transact it in person the draft is wall
a paper. The draft is useless in Indo-China since they only accept SWIFT, and to use SWIFT you require a bank account. And tourists cannot have bank accounts.
Since his credit cards are useless, and he has no money for food, left alone a air ticket he is stuck.
AVOID ROYAL BANK OF CANADA, THEY ARE HEARTLESS.

RBC claims to be the Number One Canadian bank. It certainly is in terms of worse than bad service, and they know it since they cannot be contacted directly. I'm going to sue them in fact.

I paid off a rather large amount on my Line of Credit, January 25th. I received a tax charge of $131.36 towards same when it was no longer owing. RBC made 49.69 Billion dollars in Revenue in 2021 alone...I am not able to afford to waste even one dollar. I would really appreciate to have that charge reversed as I am a Senior on an extremely fixed income...thank you for your attention to this matter.
i send 3 email to the Mnager of rbc at 6 street and 6 avenue at New Westminster BC but he never answer me, what kind of service this
If it were possible, I'd give a minus 5 star rating. The lack of service, misinformation and outright lie, and ever-changing requirements have made my dealings with the Estate Center nothing but grief, as if the grief I'm experiencing from my mother's death, whose account I've been trying to close since August 2021, wasn't enough for me to deal with. Your methods are heartless.
it is impossible to contact rbc without a card number. i only have a checking account and every call is disconnected.
Booked a phone appt. with Michael Cerasani at 3 pm on Feb. 7, never received any call from him, looked him up and called his number and left a message questioning why he did not kept his appointment and asked him to call me asap, he never return my call. It is very unprofessional and very bad customer service.
